nice video ! good Co-Pilot π and is it hard to fly IFR in Cessna ?
@eemuska Depends on your proficiency level and the weather. If you are
flying “ifr” under the hood or on a day when the ceiling is 3000 feet agl
or higher I find it easier than flying VFR due to the order of things. But
through in a low ceiling like say 300 feet and convective activity (aka
thunderstorms) and things get serious. If you are thinking about getting
your rating (I highly recommend it) make sure you can afford it. Plan on
spending around 8 to 10 grand by the time you are done.
Awesome video! I agree, great first officer!!!! π Have you ever flown a
Piper before?
@debarthepilot I have flown in an Arrow before but didn’t get much time at
the controls. It was okay but I didn’t like the feeling of being in a tub
between the wings if you know what I mean. I have also flown the Cirrus
SR22. That was nice. π
@mikeb172sp Yeah, I fly Piper Warriors. The only thing I dnon’t like about
Cessna is that you can’t see where you’re turning when you are turning!!!
π I flew the PiperSport last weekend.
Really nice Mike. Congrats on the new baby.
Great video, hope the capt. didnt have a small nap during the flight!!
