@DrSurprise You board the doors that are. the other ones (in the middle)
are more for subway style stations or raised platforms.
The shoud make a diesel ALP-46 just Strait Diesel.
Nice to see a German build locomotive in the USA.

@DrSurprise Inside the train there are stairs that lead down on to the
platform. These stairs can be mechanically raised and lowered depending on
the platform height.
@P40BH well, they do have dual powered ones but im not sure if they use
them yet.
